More than 45 festivals, villages, and markets are spreading joy across the country.
As the Christmas season approaches, Lebanon is gearing up for one of its largest Christmas celebrations in recent years, with more than 45 festivals, Christmas villages, and markets stretching from late November until early January 2026. Despite the difficult circumstances the country continues to face, Lebanese people insist on celebrating and reviving the spirit of Christmas through music, lights, and family-friendly activities that transform towns and cities into vibrant, illuminated scenes.
Batroun… Capital of Christmas
One of the most prominent festivals of the season kicks off with Batroun Capitale de Noël, running from December 5 to January 6 in the city of Batroun, offering a wide range of events in a festive atmosphere, with free entry for all.
Massive Christmas Villages in Beirut
Beirut will host several major festivals this year:
Elf Town at Seaside Arena from November 23 to December 23, one of the largest indoor Christmas villages.
Beirut Chants, the annual sacred music festival, from November 29 to December 23 at Saint Joseph Church – Monot.
Beirut Christmas Spirit, running from December 7 to January 7 in Martyrs’ Square, featuring a massive street festival.
A Christmas village on Hamra Street, in collaboration with the Commodore Hotel, from December 15 to 21.
BOB Christmas Factory at Seaside Arena from November 23 to December 23.
Le “Marché Aux Puces” also returns to Bourj Hammoud from December 4 to 7, alongside several smaller markets in Achrafieh, Jardin Mar Nicolas, and Sassine Square.

Metn and Keserwan will witness a series of notable events:
Christmas Vibes Dekwaneh from November 28 to December 7.
The Beit Mery Christmas Village from December 10 to 15.
Marche de Noël – USJ from December 3 to 5.
Le Boulevard de Noël in Kaslik from December 12 to 23.
Additional activities in Sin el-Fil, Antelias, Hazmieh, Kornet el-Hamra, and Bikfaya.
Byblos… The Enchanting Christmas City
The city of Byblos continues to host one of Lebanon’s most beautiful Christmas markets, running from December 5 to January 4 along the historic Roman road, where lights blend with live performances and music.
Festive Atmospheres Along the Coast and in the Mountains

Lights of Christmas – Zouk Mikael, from December 12 to 28.
The Christmas village in Sidon from December 18 to 22.
The Christmas village in Tyre will be open from December 12 to 23 at the port, accompanied by a Christmas concert on December 24.
Road to Christmas – Arnoon Village in Batroun on November 23.
The Christmas village in Hrajel will be open from December 23 to 31.
