Beirut is once again at the heart of the region’s technological spotlight, this time through the world of electric and hybrid mobility. The third edition of the Middle East e-MotorShow for electric and hybrid vehicles kicked off in the capital at the start of the week, organized by e-EcoSolutions, a sustainability and environmental consultancy firm. The exhibition runs until Monday the 17th and is held under the patronage of the Minister of Public Works and Transport, in collaboration with the Association of Automobile Importers in Lebanon.

Four Main Sections of the Event

The exhibition, held at the Forum de Beyrouth, consists of four main segments that reflect the fast-paced transformation in the world of electric mobility:

Electric and hybrid vehicle showcase, featuring top international brands including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Lexus, Toyota, Cadillac, Audi, Zeekr, Voyah, Smart and other leading manufacturers. Companies specializing in chargers, tires, and renewable energy are also participating, alongside banks and insurance firms supporting the transition toward sustainable transportation.

A technical dialogue platform dedicated to the latest developments in electric mobility—from infrastructure to environmental policies—aimed at raising public awareness about electric vehicles and encouraging their adoption in the Lebanese market.

An open-air electric test-drive track, giving visitors the chance to experience quiet, zero-emission driving and discover the instant performance of electric vehicles.

An electric rally championship, organized in collaboration with Toyota Gazoo Racing Lebanon, featuring professional simulator drives in the hybrid Yaris GR Rally1, with valuable prizes awarded to winners at the end of the event.

A Smart Assistant for Visitors: EVO

For the first time, the exhibition introduces EVO, an interactive AI-powered assistant designed specifically for the e-MotorShow. Visitors can engage with it to obtain information about exhibitors, activity schedules, test-drive slots, as well as technical inquiries related to electric and hybrid vehicles.

Association Highlights Safety and Service Quality

Salim Saad, advisor to the Association of International Automobile Manufacturers Representatives in Lebanon (AIA), emphasized to Al-Safa News the importance of this event in increasing Lebanese consumer awareness about electric vehicles. He stressed the association’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and consumer protection by ensuring reliable after-sales service, maintenance, and regular updates.

Saad also called on authorities to equip Civil Defense units to handle lithium-battery emergencies and urged the enforcement of laws preventing the import of non-warranted or non-compliant vehicles that fail to meet factory specifications.

Beirut… A City of Hope and Transformation

For his part, Gilbert Tegho, Executive Director of the Middle East e-MotorShow, told Al-Safa News that the exhibition goes beyond a technological showcase to become “a symbol of change and hope.” He added:

“Choosing Beirut to host this event is no coincidence. It is a city of resilience and creativity, continuing to prove its ability to rise again and lead the region toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable future.”

Tegho expressed his gratitude to Minister Fayez Rassamni and the Association of Automobile Importers for their support, and thanked Middle East Airlines for offering a 10% discount on tickets for international visitors.

A Green Exhibition That Turns Sustainability Into Action

In line with its environmental vision, the organizers adopted several sustainable initiatives, including encouraging car-pooling to reduce emissions, providing free water stations to limit plastic use, and implementing eco-friendly measures throughout the event venue.
